Angela Ramirez is a mother of three children who is attending Southwestern College completing her studies towards an associate degree in Child Development.  She states that she chose this field of study as she has three children with ADHD and one child also has autism. Angela wants to make a difference by working with children with disabilities. She comes from a life of varied forms of abuse and violence and seeks to make her children’s life a safer, better place than what she experienced. She is grateful for the opportunities provided by Coronado Soroptimist that include not only financial support but also mentoring.
