Carol was chosen as SI Coronado’s Club Member of the Year for her record of continuous and exception service. Since joining in 2001, she has hosted numerous membership/special events, has been the right arm of three presidents and has served as VP of Programs. Then with imagination and attention to myriad details, Carol has chaired our chief fundraising event for three years – The Coronado Legends Luncheon. Her vision and leadership have resulted in a dramatic increase in luncheon attendance and funds to broaden our out-reach programs. The impression she created with these luncheons inspired ten new members being inducted into the Club this year. Carol truly exemplifies all the achievements befitting her award – Soroptimist of the Year.
