Dr. Lee Lane was an easy choice for Soroptimist of the Year. Lee joined SIC in 1992, and since that time has been an officer or on the board every year! Lee was club President, Vice President, Delegate, and Legislative Advocate. Lee also represented SIC at the South County Domestic Violence Action Coalition, Chair of various committees sat on panels at District Meetings and Legislative Workshops.

In addition to club positions, Lee was also our Representative at SI Conventions in San Francisco, Ca in 1997 and Helsinki, Finland in 1999.

In 2001, the members of Soroptimist Coronado nominated Lee for a Soroptimist International of Americas Desert Coast Region Award; she received a Certificate of Appreciation and Recognition for her exemplary dedication to the community service and continuing contributions to Soroptimist.
