From the moment Kathy joined Soroptimist of Coronado, she stepped in with energy
and commitment. She quickly contributed as one of our dedicated historians; meeting at
the library weekly to document our history. She took on leadership roles, which required
a lot of time and effort and has been an active member of the finance committee. Over
the years, she has served as our treasurer with remarkable consistency and care.

Kathy brings a calm, steady presence to everything she does. She communicates
important information clearly, keeps us on track with deadlines, and helps ensure
nothing falls through the cracks. She is thoughtful, creative, and consistently reliable—
someone we can count on without hesitation.

What stood out to me most was Kathy’s dedication in 2020, when she worked tirelessly
behind the scenes to engage women community college presidents for our Legends
Luncheon. She invested significant time and effort coordinating participation and
building meaningful connections, even though the event was ultimately canceled due to
COVID. Her commitment never wavered, and her work exemplified the spirit of service
and perseverance that defines our organization.

Just as importantly, Kathy is a pleasure to work with. Her professionalism and kindness
make collaboration easy, and her willingness to step in whenever needed reflects her
deep dedication to our mission and to each of us.

Serving as treasurer is no small responsibility, and Kathy has carried it with grace and
excellence. I am grateful for her ongoing contributions and proud to nominate her for
this well-deserved recognition.
